My name is Edward van Gijn.
I am a creative photographer with a focus on commercial portrait photography.
One of my other strengths is food photography.
When shooting people, I always seek for the unexpected, to catch someone in the moment and as sincere as possible.
In Food and stills I’m carefully fine tuning all the details in every photograph I take.
I also make great use of light in order to enhance the character and quality of an image.
I have a lot of experience working in a studio environment, as well as photographing on various locations.
You could definitely say I feel very comfortable doing either one.
I’ve worked at various locations in Europe, from my home in Amsterdam.
